Qualifying program In Total Quality Management and organizational excellence
Objective of this program: This program will provide the student with the underlying principles and techniques of Quality Management, production and operations management, organizational behavior and statistical quality techniques. Students will be exposed to “real world” problems through the development of cases and the application of techniques and processes selected by class members. The students will present cases where they will apply the lessons learned in each of the sessions Who should attend? This course is especially for students how want to apply for high studies (M.sc & Ph.D) on managing quality excellence program at Sudan University of science and technology. The course is also suitable for anyone who requires a greater understanding of quality concepts and quality management, including newly appointed quality managers and quality personnel.
Sudan University of Science & Technology (SUST) Signs an Agreement with the Association of Arab Universities
Sudan University of Science & Technology has signed an agreement with the Association of Arab Universities to conduct, on February 2014, a three (3) days workshop under the title (Self-Evaluation of Academic Programs). HE the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Hashim Ali Salem signed the agreement on behalf of SUST, while Prof. ‘Abd as-Sallam al-Qhays, the Consultant at the Assurance and Accreditation Council, Association of Arab Universities, signed it on behalf of AAU. The workshop will discuss how to prepare a self-evaluation report in accordance with the ten (10) academic programs criteria approved by AAU to adopt the academic program, which combines goals and learning outcomes, curriculum, teaching and learning, faculty staff, library, learning resources, students’ progress and evaluation of their performance, facilities, support services, academic program management, research, outreach activities, in addition to quality management and improvement.
