ERASMUS MOBILITY PROGRAM FOR 2017-2018 ACADEMIC YEAR
Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport.
The Programme is named after the Dutch philosopher Desiderius Erasmus of Rotterdam, known as an opponent of dogmatism, who lived and worked in many places in Europe to expand his knowledge and gain new insights, and who left his fortune to the University of Basel in Switzerland. At the same time, ERASMUS is a backronym meaning European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students.

Erasmus+ KA107 International Credit Mobility Project
Erasmus+ opens up opportunities to students and staff from Europe and other parts of the world to spend part of their studies in another higher education institution (HEI). Under international credit mobility, a HEI in a Partner Country can send its students and vice versa.
Students are able to study abroad for a limited period of 3 to 12 months for which credits are obtained. After the mobility phase, the students return to their sending institution to complete their studies.

Erasmus+ exchange program provide amazing opportunity for the students to do part of their postgraduate program in Cankiri University, Turkey. The purpose is continuing their research project and finalizes it at the host institute. It provides great opportunities through libraries, academic staff, and labs.
Amir Eljeily, MSc
He is currently working in banking system in Khartoum (Nile Bank). He participated in the exchange program to advance his knowledge from global prospective, expand the scope of his research, learn more about international banking systems and software, and gain new skills to advance his career.
Mohammed Ishag, MSc
Cankiri University has great program in forestry science, and many experts in the field. By participating in the program Mohammed Ishag aims to gain competence research skills necessary for him as lecturer at SUST, where teaching and research are major duties.
Imadeldin Esa, PhD
Mr. Esa is a PhD Candidate, he would like to benefit from the chance of working with supervisor from European country, he thinks this will give him new vision in his field (management). He also hopes to benefit from library and labs at Cankiri University. It’s great opportunity to visit Turkey.
